The BG20’s larger and broader Dreadnaught Body provides excellent projection and volume, and sustain. Advanced X-Bracing allows the top to vibrate more freely, further supporting a larger, richer sound. African Mahogany, also known as Okoume, is used on the back and sides, and Palaquium Mahogany is used on the neck, creating a warm and clear projection of the guitar’s sound. A dovetail neck joint transfers string vibrations evenly throughout the entire guitar, to ears, body, mind and spirit.

The fretboard is made from the versatile and rare tonewood Merbau, sustainably harvested from the Kwila tree. It is known for strong bass response, notable sustain, and articulated highs, rounding out the tonal qualities of Bodhi Guitars.
